When laid off, how long before health insurance ends?

Correct- insurance ends when your severance ends (not counting your COBRA rights). If you are not entitled to severance due to not having enough tenure, you will lose your insurance at midnight of your last day of work.

Lasts until your Regular (usually 2 weeks per 1 year of service) severance ends, does not include the extension period, in which you can choose to continue it but pay the whole amount yourself which is too much $

  • unless they will changed it now, this was for viacom alone, the viacomcbs deal might be different though
