I no longer work at Lowe's but stopped into my old store and the SM said they are working on bringing commission back. is there any truth to this?? Makes sense since Marvin had that in JCP

One paycheck a month should contain 2.5% of the sales dollars wrung under your sales number. This is only for special orders that meet a minimum margin percentage. Then sales will take off. Until then we all avoid customers because there is no benefit to helping them.
Marvin isn’t going to give the associates anything he doesn’t have to. All he’s done in the last two years is cut and take away from the store level associates. Their might be a bonus program in the future but I assure you it will be a bone-us program. Goals will be set so high and staffing so low to make it nothing more than a carrot on a stick.
If it is like JC Penney’s it will mean a reduction of your pay to minimum wage with any commission being like a tip jar at the pizza place down the road. Marvin says Lowe’s employees are its greatest asset but in reality does he act like he believes that?
There’s a bonus structure for specialist based on sales. I don’t know if I’d call it commission, more of a refined SSEI, you and your dept has to hit specific targets instead of the whole store.
