You just showed how ignorant you are of the value of our company. Many parts of our company are working long hours to support medical institutions, schools and governments to deliver solutions in this unpredictable time. The media coverage was to recognize how humane the Xerox employees are and how we are doing our part to help the world in this crisis. This was a demonstration of how much our employees wanted to contribute and help in a way that they could.
If in your current job in Xerox you have not found a path to contribute; try to find that path or quite honestly stop disrespecting those colleagues who have found a path to contribute

I agree! I’m tired of seeing negativity on this Xerox Lay-off site when it is in regards to something other than layoffs. Naysayers, please find something more productive to do with your time.
I salute and congratulate my fellow coworkers who have come up with ways (portable ventilators, face masks using N95 classified filters, hand sanitizer) to use the talent and skills of our company to do good service to our world!
By making masks and hand sanitizer, a company can then be considered “essential”. & open up manufacturing capabilities.
Xerox has knowledgeable people and good facilities for manufacturing chemicals. Switching to an essential product like hand sanitizer lets Xerox keep the facility open and people employed.
Finally making a product that someone wants...
Why not .... they been stumbling on everything else they have tried in recent years...What’s left?
In the Northwest we received hand sanitizer and they have just started handing out washable fabric masks which we will be required to wear when onsite at a customer location.
Corporate Optics and because we have resources that are skilled with scaling up for this sort of commodity. We should be equipping our folks who are on point with customers or have to report to our work sites as first proirity
