Anyone else have these id–ts shopping when being on paid leave? Really gets me that they are I shopping, chatting it up when they claim to be too scared to come to work. Do you have no self awareness? I look at you like a known shoplifter now, you are basically stealing. mo–ns, all of you!

Way to go guys, we're a bunch of slaves arguing about how the house workers are so much softer and lazier than us out here in the fields. If you are trying to police your fellow workers your anger is misplaced, which is exactly what the people in power want from you. Don't play their game and don't do their jobs for them.
If lazy worker gets paid the same or better than you, and you think the lesson is that they should be working hard like you then you need to take another look at your situation.
Where does your hard word get you? There's no more allowances. Quarterly bonuses are a pittance and the entire store needs to haul a– and have good luck with customer traffic to get there. Hard work is rewarded with more work. Why should ANYONE work hard in those circumstances?
They are on paid leave because they have some “condition” that prevents them from working.
If you are on paid leave because you can’t work due to current circumstances you sure as hell shouldn’t be at your employer buying stuff for home projects.
At my store we had a number of people take the paid leave as soon as it was offered. Some claimed it was “owed” to them because they lost their allowance. Some are back and a frequently found in the bullpen hiding (if the weather is nice) or in receiving. Our former assembler and FSA built a sweet little lounge back there for all those that work in the back.
Maybe I'm lost but what's wrong with them shopping in the store if they are on leave? Every associate has the right to go on leave if not paid, unpaid. The ones that choose not to take a leave, that's their choice. I understand why people would ask that question but I don't see anything wrong with it.
I don't go to Lowe's other than to work.
Should be grounds for termination/
Yes we have several on leave associates who shop at my store, the same one they are on leave from. I’ve told a couple they need to have enough sense not to shop at the Lowe’s where they work.
