Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Unionization heatmap

I've always been told not to call the 'tipline'. I was told ten years ago WFM had a team that would go to stores about to organize and give them free hot bar and scooters at store meetings (temporary perks). That was a weird time. I would love it if we unionized.

Union is needed.
We are going into mother’s day week with no help from store support ,short staffed and ec’s setting teams up for failure but with corovirus around I doubt they care.

The next step after that will be we are fearfull of coming in with no reason what so ever to justify it.
There are your union people so get rid of them.
We know who you are .

Union is over due.
Here is what happens after reporting real issues.
Your stl will work with ec and other members of store leadership to get you out and will exagerate any issues while in the mean time they make you think they are working with you but they are working on the exit startegy to get you out .
Here is the where they try to legitimize the issue , they use team members who have had several issues before to go against you and as long as the story is air tight bye bye.
Save all your notes from conversations from people reporting problem team members it is in your best intrest and will help discredit the c-ap they try to pull on you.

What happens next determines exposure of failed leadership as a company.
Your move.
Just do what you do.

Here is how easy it is to get f—ed at whole foods.
Force people to write fake statements with a promise of job security and promotions in exchange.
Union now.

They grade them on surveys?
Mmm stupid!
Anyone with a great or good survey feed back shows you rule by fear and nothing else.
Who in good f—ing tarnation alabama mississipi betty crocker betty white type sh– thought of that?

Emotional intelligence is key to avoiding unions.
The bad leaders are usually friends with other bad leaders and promote themselves into the ranks of whole foods based on how much stuff they helped cover up while team members got screwed usually they do this after they get called out to prove a point and regional and global have no choice but to believe the shifties, astl’s and stl’s that is how much power is given to them even when they know that they were involved in other issues way too many times.
Compromise and legitimate accountability go way further than fear and retaliation.
We have a great tl but a very bad atl that stirs the sh– pot everychance she gets and over exagerates the issues but she never takes charge to own it or change it but she doesn’t know we email our tl any issues on the team or with store leadership involved since a paper trail can change everything so fast.
Yes some team members are protected and where ever they go in the store they always bump heads with other team members but store leadership has their back.
We don’t report to the atl any issues since she uses it to start sh– in the store.

I’m lucky i have a good team leader.
He works late sets the work pace for the rest of us and we all agree a leader is with his team members in good and bad thru thick and thin.
I’m currently at home but my team leader was so cool about team members staying home if they were concerned with their safety and he made it clear by saying “ It’s your choice and I want no resentment from you guys towards me or the company because you came to work since you didn’t want to let me down or pass the work load to others I want a clean conscious for you and for me the work will be here when you get back no one will think less of you use this chance to be with your loved ones and take care of what is important to you.”
How many other team members can say that?
I like to call to check in but my team leader says “We’re good so just wait it out and we miss you!”
I hope you read this and thank you for being there for us.
There are bad apples in leadership no doubt but there are also decent human beings in leadership as well that can get the work done and maintain us safe and happy.

We didn’t even calibrate our thermometers until this morning.
Took 2 weeks of reporting this until we escalated it in writing for it to happen.
We got even got in trouble for reporting market teams lack of cleaning their cases in the last 2 years but other teams have set schedules.
Prepared foods has thick slime in their cold cases and never get washed and store leadership turns a blind eye.

Here is what I found out thru gentle probing and following the gossip trail .
All Gossip and retaliation leads to the team leaders/shifties ,astls’s and stl.
They all feel they are loyal until they forget where they are at ,what they talk about or just overwork people to the point of just not caring anymore to watch their words in conversations .
We are already on the map for union hazard and yes there will be more visits to follow up at our store after this is posted.
Logging conversations is a game changer!

I was a union member for years. Best pay and benefits I've ever had. Much better than Whole foods. Completely worth it to me.

Unions don't care about workers, they only care about their $$. Only a fool believes unions do anything of substance. I have been a union member, it is a scam. It is a pipe dream.

The court doesn’t care about americans otherwise it would have stoped the h1-b visa program.
It cares about liberal doctrin in california not the law of the land.
Look out for the shopper with the supreme pouch bag across the front of his chest and yep the lower the pants get the tighter they get and yep they believe Cnn is real news since it’s politically biased.
They call us the worker man even if you are a woman.
Liberals will k–l the american working class for their organic rolled steel oats.
