Marvin? Dat you below telling us we should be grateful to have a job while you work from home?
I appreciate this gift. Be glad you have income.
The only associates that should get it are those still working in the stores to keep them open. We have quite a few out because they feel it’s “owed” to them since Lowe’s took away their allowance.

And it never will be if people don't stand up for themselves and demand what is their right. I like pizza and I'll take it when it's free (present circumstances notwithstanding) but it's not making much of a dent in low morale. This hardship payment is the same. I'll take it, and it's better than nothing, but it doesn't erase the working conditions we're living under. We have to push for more.
Life's not fair. At least there doing something
Anything is better then nothing
On Wednesday, Lowe's said it will give special payments of $300 to full-time employees and $150 to part-time and seasonal employees to express the company's appreciation.
WOW! That wouldn;t even cover an aspirin in the hospital if you were exposed to the virus, due to the outright greed and careless attitude toward's their employee's. Could you even imagine what the cost would be with their benefit plans.Oh, here's 300 bucks hope you don't catch it.

'Sure 99% of the profits my labor generates goes to someone else, largely executives and store managers' annual bonus of up to $125000 but hey now I can afford like a king size kit Kat every day. Can't look a gift horse in the mouth!'
The only reason they did it was because of the backlash from employees, government officials, and the media. Plus, the money is probably coming from the stimulus.
Seriously you are complaining? This equates to 3.75 weeks of the $2.00 per hour hazard pay that some stores are doing. This is an amazing perk. Please calm down and be thankful you have a job right now. I know this is a scary time but stay safe and be happy Lowes stepped up!
Full time $300 tax free (not even one weeks pay) on 3/31. Surprised it wasn't April 1st because they got to be kidding! Cheapest b–tards I ever worked for but that is all you can afford when you are second place. Depot is 2 weeks pay. I'll take the free money since I have to take the insult.
