I know they stole it fair and square, BUT with the current situation, and Target offering 30 days paid off to anyone at risk including anyone over 60, is it unreasonable to expect Walmart to let "associates" use the sick time they've earned? I know it's asking a lot... Feel free to float this idea to the media, it would be a shame to see Walmart feel obligated to do the right thing for once...

Walmart wont even consider to give back the associates their sick time of 192 hours and personal time they worked and earned for, before the PTO came into place!! The sick time and personal sits in a frozen account till the associate uses all their pto and then they can only use it if its for an imidate family memener . Walmart knows very few associates are not able to make it to that point. Associates saved and worked for that time in case of an emergency and here we are and associates can't touch it!!! But they are going to make sure they make their billions!!
Their strike? What does that have to do with Walmart?
Obviously, very few people know of the problems the mighty Amazon is having at their Staten Island location.
Our people lead will not let anyone use their sick time. Our old personal trainer used to let people use it but she is gone, after 25 years Walmart got rid of her like nothing. Along with all the other personal employees. Terrible company they are.
Walmart will not give us any extra pay. They are greedy. They stole everyone’s sick time, people earned that time after all those years just to have it taken away. Changed the rate we earn new pto. They are b an awful company.
Walmart won't even pay hazard pay, meanwhile Target and Amazon pay FAR better wages to begin with and are now paying $2 hazard pay also, Amazon is also paying double time for all OT. Not sure why anyone would work for Walmart right now? $11 an hour to risk my and my family's lives??? Uhh no thank you...
Will Walmart pay the 35,000 if you’re admitted in the hospital for coronavirus while working for them during this time?
Who has a TC?
Fair and square?
All you have to do is ask. I asked my TC and she said that was fine as long as the Store Manager approved it. He said we could.
