Thread regarding Emerson Electric Co. layoffs

Conrvirus

What a load of c-ap that David Farr stated he cares about his employees. If he did he would would send I risk home. All I can say is I hope the company gets what's coming to them and they get sued they can't keep a social distancing of 6 feet nor keep the air clean and machines not w I'll en when machines are with arm length of the person next to you and there are over 700 people in the plant. I hope the company gets there a– sued because they are going to k–l someone. I read online that they are responsible if a person gets sick they know they can't control this. Maintenance man, PM Techs, Weld Techs nor FST's was offered a mask and they have to be at everyone workstation, we mean nothing to this company just a monkey filling a gap in a line.

I must wonder about a company that sends out an email stating no pay raises for a year, and understandably so, but then whimsically turns around an buys a company. What message does that send to the front lines? Will the cost come out of the executive bonus pool?

At which Emerson facility do you work? Where I am they asked everyone who can to work from home. They put "social distancing" signs at the cafeteria, and they are monitoring it. And at the actual plant, they are constantly disinfecting, and people keeping their 6 ft distance.
I think the message was also a lot of c—p, and anyone would be a fool to believe it. However, I guess every facility is handling it different.
