Sounds like that “same person “ is posting in each thread about “ your fine it’s only a furlough!”
What flavor Kool-Aid is that in your cup?

So, you say the same person wrote everything in this and every other BN thread?
Paranoid much?
Go back to planning your raid on Area 51 and let the many grownups, sharing their opinions on here, continue.

Trust me, there are more than a handful of people that have extreme hatred for this company. I am one of the. However, I have only posted a few times. Based on the writing style, I'd say that it is very obvious that different people are commenting, not just one person like you say.

How can you tell it’s the same person? Because they can spell ?

Yeah this site has become just the same person (you can tell by the typing style, it's obvious) posting the same stuff over and over, thread after thread. Tiresome.

“It’s pretty normal to wish a company that treated you like c-ap to go under.
Anyone who stayed knew it would happen to them someday.“
Can’t feel sorry for people who stayed with a company after seeing how they treated their employees badly.
You can’t treat people the way they do and not have all the “hatred” on here.

This site has become just postings of hate. I agree.

Wishing bad on others that still work there is not helpful.

If you had not been laid off ( which was wrong) you'd still be there.

Ah, Ms. 14 1/2 years, I need YOU to have a seat. Who do you think you are to come here and tell people what they can or cannot say, comment on, ask, cajole, conjure, or any thing else relating to BN? This is a forum board. Do you know what that means? And what's more, Ms. Thing, who are you calling a troll because YOU don't like what I might have to say? You don't have to read it. That bile filled diatribe you penned ain't did a thing toward fostering a fruitful conversation in these fraught times. Clearly you still have a lot of baggage that you are holding on to since you were fired 2 years ago but you keep coming back to this site. What, pray tel,l are you looking for? Let it go, girl, let it go!

Well, I was one of those longtime employees (14 1/2 years) who was let go on that horrible Feb. day in 2018. I found a job that has better hours and quality of life than anything B&N ever offered me, which I'm now worried about because of the gross mismanagement of this pandemic. But that isn't why I am writing. This site was a godsend when B&N dumped me. It let me know that others were as hurt and confused as I was, and offered some good, solid advice when B&N started the long corporate slog to wipe us from the ranks forever. Unfortunately, there hasn't been real and relevant information here in at least a year now. This site is populated by angry, shrill trolls who post conjectures or outright lies, repeatedly, loudly, like apes throwing feces through the bars of their cage. I won't be here again. It is a shame that the petulance of people who were once helped here, are now denying that help to people who were - would have been - co-workers. Enough. You should seek professional help if you are still this bitter and violently hostile, instead of constantly picking the next week or the next week to gloatingly post terroristic guesses as to when something bad is going to take place.

Great excuse to dump stores.

There is NO doubt that Elliott Management will cut losses and run on any real estate they own. Money is important more than ever now.
