Thread regarding Hertz layoffs

The Term Furloughed...

Using the term furloughed means no severence package to save Hertz money.

Management will get paid off in two weeks. Many locations have twice as many as they need, so as an example if you have 10 managers five will be let go

I work for HERTZ as a CSR. At this point just glad to still have a job. We have furloughed a large number of employees and there is talk that layoffs are soon to come. My only hope is that my friends within the company stay safe and if the worst happens find greener pastures!

Furlough is a simple term so Hertz can screw their employees even more than what they do already.

They could care less about any of us. The health even.

The BS email we received on how they clean cars better now. All BS LIES.

Most who are furloughed should use all the time owed to them and then apply for unemployment.

The offer was to accept furlough yet medical bills would be paid.

What a sham.

Once you apple for UE, your done under there Insurance.
