Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

coronavirus

Today, an associate was told they tested positive for the virus. She had been out of work all week but worked on Friday with a fever and management knew she was sick. Does management have to let the other associates know that they have been exposed to the virus?

when an associate tests positive it has to be reported to OSHA they will not close any store's They cannot discuss any associates medical issue with anyone else.

While no one has tested positive at our store, we’ve had four that got tested and waiting for results. I found out from someone who is very close to one of the girls who got tested. Management “cautioned” us not to discuss the virus. One of the vendors told me that she has noticed that our manager “looks very nervous”. She thinks that the store will close if someone became positive. Not sure if that will happen.

Unfortunately I don't think this is a made-up story because pretty much the same thing happened in my club we've now had several people tested positive and not once has management told anyone. Apparently all they have to do is have the area professionally cleaned and that's it

our store is actively covering it up to keep the cash flowing. people dying to hoard supplies is great for business. dead serious. these profit margins are to die for.

Wal-Mart gives extensive paid time off if you are found positive for covid-19 (2 weeks paid plus up to 26 weeks partial as needed). No way is this a true story, troll.
