So do people who talk like negativity understand the term furlough? The company is paying for all associates benefits and also giving information on how to receive unemployment. It is there to ensure they have a job after this mess is said and done. Don’t you think being at home is safer than being around people who travel? Think about it they are less likely now to get sick and less likely to die from this covid 19. Furloughed is put in place to make sure associates are safe and have a job when thousands of others are laid off.

Furlough is a simple term so Hertz can screw their employees even more than what they do already. They could care less about any of us. The health even. The BS email we received on how they clean cars better now. All BS LIES. Most who are furloughed should use all the time owed to them and then apply for unemployment. The offer was to accept furlough yet medical bills would be paid. What a sham. Once you apple for UE, your done under there Insurance.
