Email sent out today from the Chief Exec of lottery stating “tough decisions need to be made”. But don’t worry, Also stated the company will come out the other side strong.
At least they fired a warning shot I suppose.

I was RIF’d in the November 2016 purge. We got 1 paycheck for each year of service.
20% pay cut if you make more than $75k
10% pay cut if you make $50k to $75k
Anyone familiar with what the layoff packages were last time they did a RIF? I've heard they were kind and did a payout based on years worked. But I also heard they require to basically sign a document saying you're resigning and thus not entitled to unemployment. There seemingly is no love of employees, some of who made the execs millions.
anyone heard anything yet?
I suspect 15-25% paycuts and 10-20% temp layoffs.
Will there be layoffs in Vegas?
I’ll be completely honest, after former CEO Sheehan was in charge and did round after round after round of layoffs, I lost all loyalty to this company, and my heart hasn’t really been in it at all ever since. It completely k–led any motivation I had, to see dozens of long-time dedicated colleagues be thrown to the wolves.
If we come out of this sh-tstorm, on the other side without massive layoffs, it will reinvigorate me, and I will give 110% again as an employee.
I'm in Harrisburg am I getting laid off?
Let hope they hit the high salaries of VP and higher and leave us workers alone.
How quickly after an email like this do they usually start making the cuts?
Yep. Certainly.
At least this time, the layoffs aren't being caused by corporate M&A greed.
