What are you guy's thoughts on this matter? Do you think GM will place a lot of white collar workers in at least a temporary layoff due to the coronavirus? The factories are shut down, and I doubt many people are out buying cars for the next few weeks.
Does anyone know anything about this possibility?
Oh my. COV19 is gonna hurt along with our underperforming truck sales. We’ll all learn the severity after we return. A good source told me about deep cuts within the Truck team for all the goofs, gaffs and recalls. Heads are going to roll because we are not making money. Mary is safe.

This is just trolls putting rumors out there like you have for the past year. Not one of your “confirmed” rumors have come to fruition. Go away.
I recall my director saying something like baseless speculation last time as well. He advised his managers below to take the package, just like he did.

Yes, layoffs are inevitable. With millions losing their jobs, there won't be the appetite or need to make big purchases for a while. People will be more concerned with buying essentials such as TP, Clorox, Spam, etc
