If the situation isn’t bad enough for the stores to close down and minimize the spread, why are you not in the office or in the stores working? Seriously, if you really think it’s not that bad, you wouldn’t be working from home. All you’re doing is sending the stores the message that you think you’re more important than they are. And we all know you read this site.

Quit crying the lay offs are coming! BBB are not the least bit concerned about you as a person or employee.
Law suits heading that way
Does the company not understand they are still putting employees at risk by having them go to work even when the stote is closed!?! Like hello Mr CEO- you are NOT protecting us. So you best bet I’m working on finding another job. I’m not forced to be here. I’m Good talent, and I do my job well and help my store. But the sad fact is I’m not the only one thinking this. Don’t be surprised that of over the next 3 months bbbs tenure goes down hill. I used to think we could swing the company around, but that’s deflating fast!!! I’ve been here for 10 years and this will be my last.
if we only had a leader, like our competitors, we’d be home safe and away from harm like the corporate workers. If I see another email from my DM bragging about being at home, I swear I’ll change the meaning of “going Beyond.” It might involve making a mess in Table Settings. I never thought I’d pine for the old ST days, he couldn’t run a business if his life depended on it, but at least we knew where we stood.
I see lawsuits heading their way.
So, if you have the misfortune of working in a Harmon store, have Harmon in your store, or work at Buy Buy Baby...your well being is not important enough to warrant a store closing! So sell sell sell that hand sanitizer!! Oh wait, it’s been out of stock for weeks now...Unbelievable!!! Corporate workers started working from home last week! I cannot wait to find another job and close this pathetic chapter in my life. This company has truly lost sight of what makes any company great...ITS PEOPLE!!!!
I don't think they have any clue as to how much resentment is building. I think if they closed all the stores, and paid us for the time off,( like some other retailers) it would cool a lot of people down. But I see they are just not that smart.
If you’re following the beating the company is taking on Twitter, the company is now doing.... something. Which is admittedly more than they were doing before, but still not enough to make any real difference. Just the bare minimum. They’re closing, what, less than half of the stores?
That leaves my store still open, after we’ve been repeatedly exposed to COVID-19 patients. Not good enough.
Nathaniel Meyersohn of CNN just tweeted they are closing bbb's without health and personal care departments.
I’m disappointed and disgusted by this company that I used to love and have given 10 years of my life! Sad on every level😞
I'm sure they are rubbing their greedy little hands together now that all of our competitors announced they are closing.
Everything in our plaza is closed except for BBB. We have a customer for hour, if that. It’s costing more to keep the lights on.
I said it before, corporate exec's should work at least a month or 2, and part time. And at an hourly rate like the associates. See if they can survive on what is given, and to deal with disgruntled employees and customers.
It's unbelievable that Bed bath and beyond doesn't close their stores at this time. It's very obvious that they don't care about anyone, workers and customers alike. They should be ashamed of themselves! I keep getting daily emails from various retailers, that they are closing their stores during the Corona virus outbreak. In the shopping center where our store is located , Bed bath and beyond is pretty much the only store that's still open. Who needs a towel or a fry pan so badly, that they need to expose themself to the virus?
Absolutely. If it’s ok for us at the store level to continue to be exposed, it’s ok for them.
I think that they should come to the stores to help.
