Shut down like the other big box retailers are doing. Think of your employees and their families and your customers. Two weeks at least until everything settles a bit.

I turn and walk the other way when I see a customer. Not sorry at all. If they try and make me help a customer I will stand 10 ft. away, I don't care if it comes off as rude.
They will not do it unless mandated they care about none of us or our families, but then again are we really surprised? None of us should be. We could drop dead in the aisle and they'd step over us to sell one more spatula.
The governor in New York has issued on order the stores ( non essential) to have a 50% staffing. I can see where the smaller stores will have 1 cashier, one stock person, one manager in the morning and the same at night. Also a time frame for closing which is mandatory!
MT doesn’t care about the associates. The slimy b–tard only cares about the dollar. We’re stuck at the store level being in close quarters with these customers, as close as nurses are to their patients. Every store around us is closed. But no one at corporate gives a flying eff about us, they’re all safely tucked away at home practicing their social distancing while we get exposed and associates are coming to work with symptoms because they’re cant afford to go without pay because no one can get a doctor’s appointment, let alone get tested, and HR made it clear to our managers that you’ll only be taken care of if they’re one of the lucky few who get tested. To say that I have absolutely no confidence in our leadership to do the right thing would be an understatement.
Stock price at $5.00 get real, they are desperate and about to call it quits!
