Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

C-Suite Spineless Cowards in our 911

If they care so very little for our safety, just here to profiteer off of our desperate customers, Marvin and McFarland you cowards, get your asses in the stores, and prove that you are there with us. Be a man! Prove that it’s safe for us to be working by working alongside us. Instead of sitting in a corner with your knees shaking and counting your bonus with your tiny hands while all your friends, neighbors, employees, customers are contracting this thing because of your irresponsibility. This is our 911 and you’re acting like all is well. Get in the stores now or you will have a mutiny on your hands. There will be no company to speak of at the end of this, you all will be indicted for gross negligence to start.

Marvin could have made this whole situation work in Lowe's favor and come out with us looking like we care about the community.
I feel our leadership has let us down.
All of managment should be on the floor not hiding behind closed doors.
Marvin I would like to see you and your family have the chance to experience this virus first hand.
God bless!

I would normally say shame on The MARVELOUS ONE and Chief Little-Hands, but it's impossible when you have none to begin with.

The store level employees are still required to come in for our shifts, potentially bringing us into direct contact with the infected. Corporate management, looks down from Mount Olympus on their subjects while safely bunkered down at the sterilized home office.

They "reach out" via web cam calmly saying "all is well" & "dear leader loves you and is proud of his floor level employees", calmly turning off the webcast and wiping his hands with the hand sanitizer pulled from the pallets diverted to headquarters for corporate.

Rather than showing corporate truly cares by touring the Store's throughout his empire, and encourage the floor level employees by holding town hall meetings to address concerns that the HR line REFUSES to answer, The MARVELOUS ONE can show true concern and care by selling back those THOUSANDS of shares of stock recently purchased thru questionable means and timing and use the profits from the sales and end establish an emergency employee plan for those who are or will be effected by the virus.

Undoubtedly employees with families have more than one in their houses, corporate REFUSES to answer the question if one family member gets sick, and the employee has to quarantine for the allotted 2weeks. Lowe's REFUSES to answer what if the has to call in more than one instance. Many employees have multiple persons living with them. Children easily pass colds from one to another, undeniably when one child is sick in a household siblings often are passed it by being in proximity. Corporate REFUSES to answer this question, what happens if this happens and employees have to call in multiple times due to situations like this.

Why WON'T CORPORATE ANSWER?

Oh MARVELOUS ONE while you and YOUR loved ones are safe in your recently Sanitized house consisting of supplies meant for the Store's, what about the rest of us.

I almost ‘offended’ a customer yesterday. She was looking for some plumbing fittings and had a photo on her phone. She came really close to show me the photo and I stepped back, which she didn’t take kindly by the way she looked at me. I explained to her that I’m following the cdc guidelines strictly because I’m serving a lot of customers and it’s possible that some of the people I’m interacting with are sick. I’ll be doing the same until advised otherwise by health officials.

They are going to cause themselves much worse in the future if they don't take actions now.

If there are more than five people in an aisle I walk out of it. If a customer continues to stand too close to me I walk away. If a manager comes to yell at me for it without covering their mouth, I walk away. I need this paycheck, but I don’t need to die. I don’t even need to be sick for at least 2 to 6 weeks. It’s the principle Marvin you sh–. You have no regard for human life at all. You’re not a God-fearing man you hypocrite.

How can they be OK with doing all of this, knowing how many thousands, God forbid millions, of people they are allowing to infect each other because of their selfishness? Everyone I work with understands we need to make money, but there’s 10,000 better ways to do it. The first is to close to the public and go to pick up orders only. Then give the people loading it all the protective equipment they need. By being open we are just throwing the finger to the medical community flooding the hospitals. We are not a community oriented company. We’re a bunch of a–holes. Marvin in the Grim Reaper.
