Who lays off HR?
Everyone will be laid off. This virus is gonna go on for 4 more months. No company on the planet can last for 4 more months of this. Every corporation and small business will go bankrupt. Even amazon and Walmart
Anyone hear if layoffs are happening in Oklahoma?
For those with CDLs and Hazmats, moving to trucking companies is probably a good bet at this time as the need exist with keeping the supply chain moving. Halliburton and the other energy service companies will go the way of the 80s. Be proactive.

If you are not doing the work in field w/ 25% of the normal headcount or in accounting - good luck not being an expense that HES can’t afford to pay.

Excellent advice. Move on..doesn't matter how old your are. There are opportunities out there. The more mobile you are (willing to move), the faster you will find another gig. For every $10K above $100K add a month to the search. You might have to take a cut due to not being able to leverage existing employment, or ask for sign on bonus...but you never know, everything in life is negotiable. Polish the resume to match the requirements of the job you want and go get it.

#1 Change Industries once you can. Don't go and look for a job in the same short term-long term declining Industry.
#2 It's best to start from bottom somewhere else if you are about 30yrs of age or less.
#3 Don't take it personal, is not your fault, there isn't anything you could had done differently.
I was layed off in December and I was embarrassed, then I was depressed, none of that helps. Move-on as soon as you can and stay positive if you get layed off. When one door closes another one opens.
