From what I'm hearing, every other retailer has closed some of its stores - especially in most affected areas - or at least adjusted hours and I'm yet to hear about a single Lowe's closing. Did I miss something? Have there been any closings in any of the outbreak epicenters, at least?

Greed over health
Has anyone thought about small businesses that can work outside, away from others that do need products delivered? Our business can do everything by phone and online with our customers and with Lowes without physical contact with anyone. Done it plenty of times. If we are unable to do that we might as well be dead because we loose everything that took 20 years to build. We can't do unemployment like y'all can!!!
Can we say LAWSUITS!!! A worker gets sick, dies, or brings virus to a loved one because of being exposed to the public UNNECESSARILY.. and they die... MAJOR LAWSUITS!!!
Stop being greedy and worrying about the shareholders and treat your employees like their lives matter!!!
Non essential:
Blinds, curtains, wallpaper, paint, flooring, doors, patio furniture, live nursery, lawn mowers, weed k–ler, slim Jims and Gatorade, wall clocks, wire shelving, house numbers, bifold doors, backsplash, custom cabinets, vanities, medicine cabinets, empty gas cans, garden hoses, doggie doors, credit apps, carpet cleaning rentals, ring doorbells.
Essential:
Nuts and bolts, rough plumbing, rough electrical, appliances, maybe some lumber or building materials.
If they want to fall back on calling our stores essential then only staff to sell the essentials within them, and rotate people to do that to minimize risk (think Chernobyl shoveling radioactive gravel from the roof). Otherwise you're only making your employees hate you as they see right throuh your lie - we all know a huge portion of what we do is not essential to anyone except their bottom line, our health be damned.
Essential Service? What do we sell that's essential? An ace hardware would be your essential basic needs as far as home improvement.
my store is basically at ground zero in wa state and nothing as of yet, no closings no hours reduced and customers all over the place like its a vacation for them
We need to all band together and walk out
Managers and asms just on an emergency conference call
Home Depot just cut their hours 6a-6p
Lowes Is only essential in Marvins twisted mind
F— Lowe's, they are not essential.
$$$$$
No, no closures. We are an “essential service”.
