Is Lowe's Closing All Stores? Cities are shutting down, one by one (see San Fran and cities in NJ) - it's just a matter of time when the whole country follows the suit.

youre an id–t. appliances break down, pipes leak, electrical issues, all kinds of parts for home repairs, roofs that suddenly develop a leak. heck even a furnace/AC that needs a new air filter can be a big deal as it shortens the life of the unit if not changed regularly. smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors, light bulbs...the list goes on and on what seems like innocuous products that once you actually didnt have the ability to change them, add them, replace them the quality of home life begins to suffer. lowes and HD have fema designations for a reason....you must either be a cashier, or live in an apartment or something to not get that when homeowners need to fix something they tend to end up in HD or lowes.

Ctitical? That's a joke. Nobody need a hatchet or a paintbrush during an outbreak of an infectious disease. During a snowstorm or hurricane or something maybe, but staying open when you are out of disinfectants during a pandemic will only make the problem worse.
Also if they go back on their word and refuse to compensate you, file for unemployment. You'll like get benefits for the work you missed.
lowes and hd are considered critical infrastructure like grocery.
They need to, they're a huge vector that is getting people sick right now but we won't know it for up to two weeks.
If they do that you will still get your paycheck, that hadn't been in doubt for a while now.
