While other operators have gone to essential employees only in their corporate offices I am still sitting here on my laptop and cell phone getting unnecessarily exposed or potentially exposing others for no reason. Someone in EHS needs to step up. Most of us can effectively work from home. If they cared we would not be here!!!

Actually, at CHK EHS makes a recommendation and it’s up to HR for final decision. HR has way more stroke. Was not necessarily the case when BB was leading EHS. This is also what happens when they both report up to the same EVP. Same for weather related closings. It’s fixed now for most but the EVP should have followed suit with the rest of the state/country way before it was done and EHS should have forced the issue all of the way to top If (doubtful) they truly understand pandemic guidelines.

One of the absolute dumbest responses ever. One CHK - your response is likely a good indicator of what is left at CHK. Only the weak, as the strong have moved on. My guess is that you probably think we will be getting “free” education and health care in the near future as well. Even if this virus has been blown out of proportion it only makes sense to follow the pandemic plan that CHK has in place. Yes they have one and yes it calls for all employees that are able to work from home to do it. If you are not one of these then s— it up and go to work. At least the exposure to,you will be less. Truly an ignorant response.

I think we need an all employee meeting. We can all give each other hugs.
Not everyone in the company can work from home. If we are One Chesapeake, it has to be fair for everyone. We all stay home or no one does.
