Can these cheap b–tards just close before we all get sick. ? Nobody is coming into the store. Shut it down.
If you have notified the store manager of this exposure, he or she is required to call the special number set up regarding reporting possible virus exposure, for guidance on what to do next.
A colleague in my store came into contact with a confirmed coronavirus case. It’s her daughter and the live together and we told the store manager and he didn’t say a word.
Dear colleagues,
As a company, we are staying close to the development of the coronavirus and are adjusting our business practices as appropriate. The landscape continues to evolve, and as such, we have made a decision to adjust our store operating hours.
Effectively immediately, we are reducing the hours of operations in all of our stores, and will be releasing new schedules.
Update! If you look at your schedule, and you are still assigned to a shift that begins before 11:45 a.m., please report for your shift at 11:45 a.m. Closing shifts will end at 6:15 p.m. Shift edits for the remainder of the week will be visible by end of day tomorrow, March 17, 2020.
It is essential that you review your schedule as your hours may have changed. Please connect with your people leader with any questions.
Thank you.
When are the revised schedules suppose to be out, I heard 830 pm but nothing.
Still waiting on schedules to post. I heard my store is doing 10-6. PT coming at noon, FT opens.
Can somebody please post the letter from insite? Thanks.....
The Governor of CA has issued a legal order for all non-essential stores to close til April 7 and for everyone to self isolate. Macy's should do the right thing like Apple and give its employees emergency pay so they can pay their rent.
When are the new revised schedules suppose to be on insite?
Check Insite right now...the letter to associates is in it as soon as you click on Myday
I do not have a schedule. The entire schedule for 2 weeks disappeared within the past 2 hours. There has been absolutely NO information from Macy's.
Its not a rumor.Tomorrow we open 12-6 Sun-Fri, Sat is 11-7. No hrs for PT or Flex, Im afraid. This is only temporary. Macy's is emailing associates or contacting through Insite. Schedules will post tonight.
Stock price closed at $6.71 with a dividend yield of 22.5%. They will cut the dividend and free up cash but that won’t last forever. I would plan for the worst. Good luck.
Rumor is that my store is going noon to six. MSP says I do not have a schedule right now.
