Legal seems to be a bit subjective in the case of unemployment assistance applications. As long as you consider lying on an unemployment application legal, I suppose you're good. I've read all the stories and heard the talk, lol.

Not true, Project Alpha folks and I imagine folks after PA did Legally receive Unemployment benefits.

“what are the differences between EOI benefits and Severance benefits?”.... there is none. The only difference is the selection path that got you there. If selected by EOI you remain “involuntary separated” and can apply for unemployment benefits.

responding to @euw+13zujnVM Figure it out. BCG charges by the month and it seems we can't make any hard business without them - that's why we are dragging this out . And can't we figure our how to transform without microsoft - Its really depressing. Totally into what Wirth wants to do but where in the hell is he getting the advice about how to do it - Seems he has execs that aren't really bought in so how can workforce.

All these thumbs up on workplace and folks smiling at the town hall. 1 in 7 of them gone by the end of the year.

What s—s is that you may have a job in Houston but they offer you a job in midland. You don’t get the severance if you won’t move.

You can Express Interest, but if a job is offered anyhow you must take it. Otherwise, no severance as you have not been severed but rather resigned.

Execs can’t spell agile much less be agile. Chevron is still slow as phuk.

Credit for answering the question that is everybody's focus and why town hall gained little traction for the changes needed. Also find it hard to believe why this drags out so long which only deepens the damage to morale and slows momentum for change. Surely they can identify EOI's sooner, let people not critical go, work timing for those that need to transition responsibilities and make selections for their replacements. Why does Chevron always do this the hard and least cost effective way? Continuing to pay people that are gong to take EOI longer than necessary = $$$$$$$

Can you get severance if you are mid career and select EOI and are granted EOI?

It looks like you can select EOI and still be offered a position and if you decline you forfeit benefits. Am I understanding this correctly?

Woo hoo!!! Sign me up!! October is ridiculous though. They definitely didn’t learn Their lesson from Alpha. The cute animated video was a nice touch though. I bet BCG proposed that. How many hours do you think they spent working on it? Lololol Get ready for 8 months of doing nothing.

Anyone know how the LTIP is treated for those left standing (or for EOI): future payouts rolled up or forfeited?
