My dad worked for BN before deregulation and BNSF after. He definitely preferred before, based on the politics and back stabbing that came about when the execs started smelling money in the deregulated market.

I quit smoking a while back. Shouldn’t be to hard for you to google a little info on re regulation of American railroads.
Just wait until the railroads get re regulated by the government. It’s probably going to happen soon according to a Fox News article i was reading the other day. Sounds like the customers are getting tired of the railroads picking and choosing shipping rates that are hurting customers and consumers. I wonder what this will do the stock prices?
