Another shining example example of what a corrupt greedy company you work for. Walmart already isn't giving out raises, 2% isn't a raise its inflation, but now your giving NOTHING to those with 4 points. In other words a pay CUT for those with 4 points. Stolen sick time, lowered accruel rates, no holiday pay, no raises, and now not even a cost of living wage adjustment for some?? When will it end? Where is this company headed? And why are you still working at Walmart???

I have a co-worker who had over 8 points and the manager erased them. He got all of the 125% bonus. I had an emergency one day an did not have time to call before my shift started. I got the points and did not get my extra bonus. I have never missed a day in the three years I have worked here but because I did not have time to call in I get the points but the person who takes off every week, goes home early, comes in late get a bigger bonus than I do? Makes no sense and give me no incentive to try to do a good job.
Actually its not all that simple ive worked for walmart for over a decade and most of the ones that dont call in are the ones who get away with doing the least amount of work standing around talking and managers wont do a damn thing about it and when managers catch them in the act of plugging multiple times they still dont do sh– i bust my a– to get as much done as possible and then get stuck cleaning up their mess so i can actually do my job and then as a stocker i kept getting pulled to do the dept mngrs job scanning bins fixing on hands working their freight but then when dept mngr positions open up i get denied i think its more than fair for me to have points and still get that 2%
True no raise this year. No sick pay and my bonus for Q1 (highest sales since my employment started) bonus was 38 bucks! WTF Walmart!! I risked my life the first three months of this year and what did I get in return? C-apped on as usual. I live in a small town but if I had other job options I would take them in a heartbeat
So all the points my manager took off for my coworkers means they got there raise.They call out and he gives them no points
How about fire all asm n close the store early n no more working holidays!!! Ogp is taking over so realistically we are trying to be like amazon so hire more people to stock faster get rid of all 20 plus year associates.

I didn't get a raise after 7 years being here because I was sick or my children I'm being punished for my attendance that's not right my productivity is over 200% shame on you for giving raises to the lazy sh–ty workers!!! I've worked your holidays without holiday pay bonuses!!! I will not work this year Thanksgiving or xmas I guess I will be fired!!!

Those who are whining about not getting the raise are the ones who don't come to work. Good riddance. Stop gaming the attendance system and go to work like the rest of us. If you don't like it, leave.

@1aqo- Ya know that's a great idea! If I worked at a Walmart store and the best I could hope for was to make the same as last year, I'm not sure why I'd want to stay. If your dumb enough to think making the same as last year is fair, well the world needs ditch diggers and Walmart "associates" too...

i said same thing. where there is punishment should also be a reward. Perfect attendance should get more of a raise. Also asked my asm about it last night in our nightly meeting and he said he hasn't heard anything about it . Asked me If I had so i told him. he said will check with store mgr lol
Well inflation or not I’m still getting that to keep up with inflation. If you don’t show up to work you don’t get that luxury. Quit b–ching and go work for Target if you want someone to hold your little hand and wipe your little nose and stop blaming the company for something that you did on your own. 2% is better than nothing.
@tgo- are you really stupid enough to think this company rewards anybody? Here's a news flash for you, inflation is 2%, your "raise" is 2% if you're a good little "associate". Do the math dummy, the most reliable associates are making the same as they did last year. If youre dumb enough to think that's a "reward" then youre just what Walmart is looking for 👍
While I agree with the comment above that you should watch your points, and you should show up for work, it's still sickening that they couldn't announce this last year. Instead they waited til the week the raise was suppose to kick in. And in many stores managers haven't even told their associates about it.
Here’s a thought... why don’t you show up for work? I have worked at Walmart for a long time and have never called in (except when my mom was in the hospital). I can guarantee you myself and everyone else appreciate this company even more for rewarding those of us who actually show up for work and do our jobs and weeding out the point players. The sooner all the people that call in all the time move on, the better it will be. Besides If you’re not working you’re not making money and if you’re not making money you’re not paying your bills, and if you’re not paying your bills it doesn’t matter if you get a “cost of living” raise because you’re not doing anything to help yourself. Oh yeah they offer protected pto so I can call in all time and still get paid. Well you’ve burned through the protected time and now you’re in trouble because you have no time for emergencies and now not only are you not getting a raise you are 1 point away from termination. None of this would be an issue if you just showed up for work.
Nice! So how about an extra 2% for those that have perfect attendance? Nah we can't do that, that would be and actual raise that beats inflation, we can't give ANYONE a raise at Walmart. Oh yea this is Walmart, no rewards, only punishment. A sure way to insure I give zero sh–s and do as little work as possible.
