Getting posts removed on this site are a demonstration of how CHK operates and ended up
In this situation. Buying people off, hushing people and bullying people is at the core of this business.
At least we know that someone is looking at it. It might just be the best venue to get people to hear our voices even though you will remove anything marginally offensive, particularly when it’s true.

Yes, it's EHS or HSE or SHE and don't forget the R. Anyway, this used to be a very fun group of people. What happened? Just ask any of them and they will tell you. Well, perhaps not the jelly man but anyone else will tell you; although, even he deserves better treatment that this. This group is now riddled with distrust, micromanagement, displaced and misplaced employees, etc. Inexperience and the inability to be humble does not belong in leadership.
Don't worry though, eventually the magic cards will turn it all around...
Is B5 mostly EHS? They seem to be a VERY unhappy bunch. For a while now. I feel for them. In Ops we at least have good management overall (with a few duds). But most of us don’t have to deal VP & above.
If you think that’s true you are sadly mistaken. No names and no profanity. A couple of jabs at Bldg 5 leadership and a walkout but nothing more. For a fact they will remove posts that don’t violate their policies.
Now I’m bummed I haven’t checked this site in a while. What did we miss??!!! I do love the posts about the CEO’s compensation compared to the market cap and budget of some assets...
It’s a private website not owned by the CHK. It has hundreds of other forums. But it is moderated, to see tagged posts about what’s not allowed to post go to: thelayoff.com/h/censor
Or, it could simply be that posts are violating the site's rules. Most of the things I notice are missing are things that were either naming names or were laden with profanity. No big loss, in my opinion.
So does this mean no walkout? I have been out in front of Bldg 5 since 11:45.
