I know this is a layoffs site but no other forum exist. I see reviews on Glassdoor are mixed and here they are mostly negative (I am expecting it as it's a layoffs website).

Chevron is a great company to work for. It's obviously not perfect but compared to your average company, Chevron is an excellent company. Most of the malcontents on here got spoiled and are now whining because they their gravy train ended.
How many more letters will they keep adding on to the LGBTQI acronym? They forgot to include “O” for Odd. Really, it should be the first letter in the string of letters because Odd summarizes them all.
Don't be surprised if they have you involved with and eventually managing projects with very little chemical related scope. Great place to get experience. Extremely process driven organization. If you are talented and have a little political acumen, the potential for advancement is incredible. Diversity is significantly welcomed, CVX is rated as one of the best organizations to work for, as rated by the LGBTQI community.
Yes, come in, do a few years, get some experience and jet.
