Are you saying that if cheap F21 can't make it, Macy's can't because it's more expensive? The stores/ malls that are thriving are the higher end A-malls (with Nordstrom, Neimans, Saks, Bloomies anchors). It's the low end, smaller stores in B-C malls that are struggling.
Additionally, F21 is c-appy clothes and the owners had a terrible reputation so customers starting leaving (remember American Apparel? Same thing).
Stop ringing the alarm just because you are wishing for Macy's to go out of business.
Forever 21 is garbage and has that reputation with everyone for a long time. Most of their customers know as soon as you have to clean their clothes you mine as well toss them because it’s all very very cheaply made.
