I'm sure Amazon is thrilled with a new big store. So much space they can take over and put into Amazon shoppers area.
I think Austin is close to 100K SQFT
This is the future. Abars going away in some areas,, being replaced with more prep foods bars/venues. Cheese departments going away to be replaced by 'the wall.' soulless stores.

My old store was 8,000 square feet larger. When it opened it had a huge coffee bar and more food bars. The economy wasn't doing well, they had to lay off 100 + people and remove the coffee bar and all but 2 food bars to cut waste. Then for a few years they kept the food bars mostly empty. No breakfast bar at all. Now they are remodeled after being open 12 years.
After they built that store they said they'd never open stores that big again.
Flagship store in Austin is 80,000 sq feet.
