Don't worry XPO may not be around for long you will possibly get a new appliance delivery company but soon Estes will be doing your curbside ltl freight to customers. We are the best.

The CEO has a golf cart garage attached to his multimillion dollar mcmansion that drives right out onto a golf course and you want to complain about delivery drivers? Get lost with that attitude.

So much defense for the delivery team. Deliveries are a huge joke in my entire market. Everything is damaged, maybe 45%. Delivery doesn’t read notes and often deliveries incomplete projects, or weather sensitive materials that fail when delivered too early. I’ve seen hundreds of thousands lost in one store in 3 years from delivery incompetence. Like... whoa dude, you mean I shouldn’t drop off $300 in concrete if it’s raining- no way! Common sense is why Lowe’s wants to outsource delivery- maybe if it costs someone something.

There should be a law against starting new posts with half a– info. If you are talking about the "new" 3rd party delivery service that has been shoved down our throat by corporate (in my area) I would agree wholeheartedly. We could employee someone full time at my store just dealing with customer care issues they create. However, if you were talking about my old unceremoniously laid off 5-star+++ Lowe's delivery crew I would say your 100% full of c-ap. This is coming from a 15 year+ appliance specialist that gets to deal with p-ss-d off customers on what is now a daily basis (thanks to corporate).

It's usually free with purchase of a riding mower or appliance as long as they are in stock. Delivery will even hook up if you purchase the hoses. You really can't beat free delivery

Get a grip, delivery is not overpaid and you don't know what you're talking about.

You obviously don't work in delivery and worship the Great Turtle's all mighty word.

You're promoting the loss of legitimate jobs to just then hand them over to other companies who are also abusing the hell out of their employees by making them independent contractors.

This is how the whole world will work one day if it's allowed to continue down this path.

You may feel safe now, but think deep down, they're already planning on how to make YOUR job (no matter what position), which they certainly feel you're being overpaid for, will one day be taken over by third party independent contractors.

We have had the same 5 delivery guys for 5+ years, our senior driver with 18+ years.
