Thread regarding PepsiCo Inc. (Pepsi) layoffs

No V Day Beatdown This Year?

Either PepsiCo has learned to keep a secret (doubtful) or Layoffs are not happening in February. The historic Valentines Day Masacre may skip a year? Wishful thinking? Perhaps. Anyone hearing anything worth mentioning?

These are my views and may not necessarily be the views of PepsiCo.

It’s called damage control and back tracking. IT is now an unmanageable hybrid of mass confusion. I still remember the mo–n who boasted in 2014 that offshore can do IT Services better, faster and cheaper. 6 years have passed millions of dollars have gone into continuing to breath life into a dud. Many loyal PepsiCo were sold out to find this insane dream. Truth is, there is no viable plan.

What a let down. I was hoping Pepsi was going to get rid of the rest of the R&D, IT and marketing pigeons.

I was part of the prestige worldwide study. I believe they’re two brothers who did the research. I remember the one actually ran the Catalina wine mixer in his free time. Both drummers right?

Prestige worldwide did an analytics study that showed if they wait until after bonuses are paid they will have 5% of the workforce voluntarily quit, not have to pay a severance and assuming they quit before the bonuses bank that money too.

This was an actual study conducted by PW

It has been occurring for months now, with people getting staggered dates. There is still supposed to be one in February with immediate release from job duties. Some have been given 3-6 months notice.

Where do I sign up for a voluntary buyout. I was hoping to retire in 35 years but will consider going early

I think they are going to announce a voluntary buyout for employees with so many years of service
