Ever since they got rid of HRs, creepy things keep coming up. I had a manager to make a sarcastic comment to me today about my allergies. I asked him how he knew about my allergies, and he said “it’s in your file”. I’ve never ever discussed my allergies with anybody at work ever. The person who replaced the HR, forced me to give a doctors excuse for days I had missed In October, for an allergy related illness. Who all has access to my file? I feel so violated.

This would be the front end at my store, they seem to know everything about everyone and they love to gossip.
My sister in law stopped by with her new baby, I wasn’t working, by the end of the day work had spread that I had a child with someone other than my wife. I found out about this the next day.
Your personnel and medical files should be protected and there are restrictions as to who can access these files. Your medical information is protected by HIPAA. If you believe you have suffered a violation, report it.
Depends on the state. But go to the department of fair employment and housing. They will let you know if it’s legal or investigate.
Maybe if you stopped posting every mundane detail of your life and you're dislike for your supervisor on social media while you're manning the return desk with your phone out directly under the l.p. camera as it's zoomed in looking directly at you and your phone while you're typing, maybe then people would stay out your business.
that is a violation. file ethics point claim and citre time, name of manager, etc.
managers cannot ask you about anything medical. its harassment
Omg!!!!! How dare them. The violation is so real I can’t believe you’re able to go on each day knowing that someone knows you sneeze a lot.
