Is this in the future?

Being hassled about names for the pro loyalty card which is nothing more than a re-purposed MyLowe's card. Anyway, I wonder if in the future we will be written up for too few submissions, since in the past we were threatened with the same for a lack of leads. There are not enough contractors to generate a decent number and now we are told to "ask anybody and everybody"...

The Pro Sales Specialist job is increasingly becoming a high turnover position. The misery factor is being increased, i.e. the tearing out and removal of desks and chairs, throwing away catalogs. You get zero credit for total sales retail vs pro (although you spend half your day on retail customers or “cash” contractors). Constantly chasing down orders for “pick up” customers, internet orders, pulling orders for delivery. Hardware customers being channeled to the Pro desk because there isn’t a desk for them to wait for assistance in Hardware ( that’s good for about fifteen interruptions at the Pro desk a day) Yeah, good formula there you HD “pro guru” transplants.

Correct and protect yourself. If you are doing your job, (asking each interaction customer to sign up) they cannot write you up and they are setting themselves up for even more class action lawsuits.

Send an email, cc HR. Go to ethicspoint.com because these are Lowe's resources provided for such situations. File a claim, state your concerns succinctly and specifically. If you are being threatened while doing your job, this is an ethics violation. If HR covers it up or sweeps in under rug, get a lawyer.

These empty threats are the new dictates by corporate. Im a manager, on conference calls and meetings and we have all been told to lead by intimidation, threats, and fear. Corporate is pushing that, but its all posturing.

If a manager wants you gone, they will find a simple way. Best thing you can do is ask everyone, and hope no one signs up. That way, these corp dipchits will move onto their next big, dumb idea.

This Loyalty c-ap will pass too. Its another Marvin failure just like the rest. When he told me to have my team do it, I said GREAT! What are the details of the plan? What will customers get? He said, "oh, thats to be determined at a later date."
So we ask, cant provide details, cusotmers have no info and expected to sign up, and then we are threatened for low sign up numbers? LMFAO - what busch league , kindergarten, krap!

These corp mo–ns had some ahole rol in one day w/out telling anyone and replaced all the scan guys at registers and left. None of them workeds! No beta-testing, ntohing. So for 2 weeks we lost mad sales, having to constantly reboot. They came back and removed em all, and put back old ones. CLASSIC Lowes!

And these mo–ns are threatening us! The ones having to deal with their stupidity.
