It was only a matter of time. Since the purchase of CTF, FIOS TV has been bleeding subscribers. Some will say Frontier should have backed out of the purchase because “Cord Cutting” had been growing nation wide. Never the less after the purchase Frontier quickly realized that FIOS was a front and the debt it created for Verizon was backed my Verizon Wireless. If Frontier would had cut TV from the beginning and focused on gigabyte speed, who knows they may have survived. With unloading TV, Frontier will save millions on material cost, subscription fees and probably be able to reduce the workforce by 25%. Overall good move by the elites, and now they can really emphasize a restructure focused around DATA.

Long live Fios tv! I love it!
Bahaha, you mean the ONTs made in China? The same ones they sent out a memo of having a shortage of? Due to Coronavirus.. Hide and watch, management will announce bankruptcy and partially blame the Coronavirus epidemic..
Yeah they aren’t very smart to hate the person responsible for the greatest economy in history. Then again FTR mgmt couldn’t successfully run a lemonade stand let alone a telco.
Redfoxx they hate trump also
Dropped Starz? Oh that’s cuz FTR hates black people.
Dropped Stars/Encore on Feb 14 so there's that
Fios TV is still available. Period.
This company is finished
I doubted this at first, even though it makes sense. Just confirmed it today. Customer service told us tv is on the “do not offer list” and that they’re supposed to push dish tv.
My coach says there ain’t nothing good on TV anyways.
We are so screwed
Please give me a package. I’ll leave quicker that sh–. This place is done!!
Now you tell me! Let me rip out these three cable lines and TV boxes I'm installing. LOL
Kinda late now, you ran off all the talented and experience technicians that know old transport and the new IP technology. Most of the new talent is lost and will take a long time to figure out most of the equipment that runs the data. Been there and seen it..
Dropping TV might be a smart move. Frontier is currently upgrading to XGS-PON and should just focus on affordable Gigabit service. Do 1000/1000 for $65/month with price for life like Centurylink does.
Where is the announcement?
Who gives a flying f*ck!
