Go to the FAQ section of www.xplushp.com and you will find the question "What are the next steps in Xerox’s bid for HP?" the answer is "As part of our M&A playbook, we are planning the integration of the two companies so we can move swiftly after closing to realize cost and revenue synergies." Based on the answer, I would say Mike F is being positioned to take on a new portion of the combined company.

Guess his prior HP experience didn't save him. Is he now considered part of the "old guard", needing to be replaced by one of JV's newer hires?
Sounds like OP doesn't like Mikey F and is taking great delight breaking the news here.
Michael F. had his responsibilities significantly reduced. He is now only focused to GC, GHE, and Large Global Accounts for NA and Latin America. He is no longer responsible for XBS, channels, Velocity, agents, dealers, etc. So, he has had the entire SMB market taken away from him and they have been given to Joanne C-S after being promoted to an Executive VP.
Who is Mikey, other than the cereal kid?
