Why do people assume publicly traded companies are performance based? The Boeing CEO just received an $80,000,000 severance package while employees struggle to obtain cost of living raises.

Corporate America feels like 1970s Soviet Union.

Hey Ginni earned every penny. It’s tough work sitting, on the jet figuring out what shinny object to chase next. Agile, no CAMSS, no blockchain, no cognitive, no cloud, no linux ............. 25 million please

IBM is also not a meritocracy. More like a political organization. A very big part of the problem.

IBM is not a performance based company, executive compensation doesn't align with performance.
