Lets think about this. A virus particle is approx. 40 Nanometers. 40 BILLIONTHS of a meter. This is way way way smaller than any dust mask alone can provide protection for. Just goes right through. Like a hummingbird through the grand canyon.

If only the id–t masses knew that these masks offer no protection. There is a reason that the medical staff dealing with this outbreak use actual full or half face respirators, not silly dust masks.
If he is a true prepper, he will shoot you if you go to his house. He will not forget those who mocked and made fun of him preparing for what's about to happen.
Start buying non perishables now. Masks can be made from sheets or towels.
