We used to do cluster/product classes training?
New hires now are thrown to the floor and expected to learn as they go. This is why our retention percentage is soooo low. Not for nothing, all those classes and sell backs actually helped to teach associates how to sell and navigate the sales floor. It seems like now we hire just to fill hours in but we lose the Training steps. The BS LMS is not a tool for training. Realistically, all associates do is click away without reading until they get the right answer.

Lol sellbacks... you must be a csxm trying to justify your existence.... The clientele that BBB needs to focus on trying to attract doesn’t care about a 16 year olds product knowledge. Get real. Besides, this thing that we’re using right now is called the internet. The customers that bbb needs all know how to use it and most do their research prior to shopping... apart from that, most people just want to have their choice validated so it doesn’t really matter how much sellbacks you’ve done. As if they’re on commission or something. SAD
If the sell backs were done properly we wouldnt have this issue. 👍
Not that we give associates the time to do their training anyway, our associates can’t do it on the floor, because the managers complain about them “not doing anything.” They can’t go off the floor because the managers won’t let them. But they sure as hell will complain if the training doesn’t get done, though!
The joke is the person saying no one ever approached them to try to sell. You either don’t actually shop at bbb or you were that customer who couldn’t be bothered because every time someone greeted you, you would turn your head and rudely ignore the associate.
Unfortunately bbb now is obsolete.
Too bad, use to be a really good company before the chair sitters ruined it.
Sell and navigate the sales floor? In the last 20 something years I've shopped at BBB, I've never once been approached by a sales associate asking me if I needed assistance. As a matter of fact, it was rare to see anyone on the floor, at all. Why would y'all need training on selling?
LMS is a complete joke.
