Hope all you people losing jobs find alternatives and soon. Don't really care about them at the top that caused all this, karma says they should never work again but as someone else said failure will be rewarded and they'll be looked after by their mates in high places and go on to wreck other peoples live somewhere else. ARSEHOLES ALL OF THEM.
Its notable that certain office staff member kept even tho others with longer service are axed, wonder how that came about🤔. Not difficult to work out really is it.
It's a shame to see so many highly skilled and competent people lose their jobs because of a few people at the top who are totally incompetent and out of their depths. It seems that's how we do things here, reward failure and screw everyone else.
I agree with the last poster about the baldy 🤡 ability. But, I really can't see NOV paying the business rates on a site that big just to house one small office and <10 NDT staff, they'll be next and soon. As for the machine shop their management team is no better, and I hear Baker Hughes are about to go on a recruitment drive again as they're still expanding so they could struggle to keep skilled men.
I'm only surprised that it lasted this long. The day they put that obnoxious, clueless little f— in charge at Montrose it was always going to be a failure, just like him.
Unfortunately the sheer incompetence of the senior management bullies are to blame for so many great people away to loose their jobs.
What makes this more ridiculous is OFFICE staff receiving and redundancy letter in one hand and a bonus letter in the other! How is this possible. Must be one of the most disorganised company’s to work for. Total shambles of a organisation!
Brutal company to work for - utter nonsense family value quotes and no respect for their employees who tried their best to make it work.
Is the Elf the CEO or Division President ?
OMG Is this for real?
Sad to hear about Montrose..Wishing everyone finds a job soon. Nice people
A very sad day for what was once a leader in quality fabrications. I hope there is a bright future for the skilled employees that sat it out.
