CBS is the worst. I'm surprised they seem to safe from the Rif.

No segment of Cummins is ever safe from RIF's or forced firings s they should be called. Every new hire, intern, co-op, etc. should be made aware of this.. As employees or ex-employees, we should all help each other in finding careers with companies who value their people. Companies that can actually learn from history, these forced firings have been going on every 3 years or so for decades. Never pretend one group is safe, unless you are talking about the executive levels.. You will notice they are called executives and not leaders..
I was a CBS employee walked out on September 30 - another group was let go in January- CBS did not escape the impact.
I was a CBS employee let go at the end of September. It was definitely more than seven people. Thankfully, I have since found work, but I know some former CBS employees still looking.
I thought I heard 7 folks were let go and they had an internal announcement after that, saying the rif is done for now.
