Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

Same exact comments were made in early 2000. If you are betting person and want your money in the long run take it elsewhere. Nothing has, will change. GE is still not mission based and therefore it is not able to mobilize the organization effectively. Share price, earnings, etc are outputs of focus on customers, products, employees. GE has it all wrong as its only focus and only common theme is the almighty $. Take your hard earned money and invest it elsewhere. Otherwise you risk hearing in another 5 or so years that yet again GE was at ACSC taking on another initiative.
