Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Use it or lose it???

I heard from a fellow associate that WALMART will only be rolling over up to 80 hours of PTO time and if you have anything over that, you will not be paid for it... can anyone confirm or shed some light please??

All hourly accrued pto gets paid out at the end of the year. Ppto will accrue endlessly, but after 80 hours, that will be paid out as well. Accurate and validated through the wire. Just type in pto in the search box.

You will be paid for all hours over 80. The 80 will be rolled over.

I had 64 hrs of pto and 121 hrs ppto. They paid me out for all 64 hrs of pto and took me to 0 pto hrs. I still have 121 hrs of ppto. They didn't touch that prob because I'm in cali. They are forcing me to us ppto to take a vacation in march. I wont have accrued enough to take 40 hrs vacation by then. Several people had the same thing happen to them and bo one knows why. People lead just shrugged her shoulders and said I wasn't the only one.

In other words they stole it... don't forget it's also limited to 80 hours even if you jump through all their id–tic hoops. Can't believe people are dumb enough to work for this company, there are better jobs EVERYWHERE right now. How are y'all gonna be f—ed over this Feb1???

anything over a certain amt. of hours gets paid out in lump sum on check in feb. I believe always been that way. Also the old sick and personal time is still there you just have to blow through all new pto and ppto to dig into it. and just the sick time you can only use it two ways if you are full time by taking care of sick relative, and part timers for yourself or the relative, you will lose it if you quit or get fired.

Anything over 80 hours of PTO gets paid out. Has been that way since PTO started.
