I’m not against all unions just the ones at the railroad. If they don’t have the courage to strike now with all the safety issues and layoffs then they never will. Bunch of cowards. Weakest unions I’ve ever seen. Don’t @ me you know I’m right. Hope the payoff under the table was worth it.

Power is in numbers! Stop complaining and and stand as one and you will see something be done. When freight isn’t being moved, then something will change. Until that happens complain all you want but as long as the work is still getting done, then your wasting your breath!
As much as they s—, we are at least partly to blame. We are supposed to be the union. That being said, if the unions cease to exist, we might as well apply at wal-mart.
Union reps get kickbacks on the kickbacks. They act like they know information but really just look it up or call someone when you have a issue. We really need a outside unbiased person to go through the books.
You can attend all the union meetings you want it won’t change the corruption at the top of the Union

Well of course you are better with a Union, but what good will being a member of a union do you when you have no job because the railroad unions are too weak to do anything? You being so willing to accept mediocrity are part of the problem

Without a union you would be making much less and your benefits would be worse and you know it is true. You honestly think UP would actually be treating you better? It would be even worse.
Reps are sitting fat at there desks not answering calls and raking $$ in. We all know the union is corrupt gentlemen. We need that one person to audit them and the truth will heard.
Agreed. These UTU guys have to be licking there chops wondering what the carriers are going to bribe them with for the one man crew push. The only negotiating they do is “what are you going to give me to sign off on this garbage”
