Thread regarding Neiman Marcus Group layoffs

Finances due out now...Coronavirus

In order to not appear as if they are losing money aimlessly..Neimans plans to claim they are changing their business strategy by closing most last call stores....
While they leave employees in limbo.... thats why their was no clearcut store closure list.. they estimate most to half of stores closed...Who does that,? Answer. They want a tax credit for closing stores due to business conditons while the board takes zero cut in wage .. Also Raemdonck
(who took job others turned down ) has concealed finances when company went private hides tax credits from the press who dont do their job....Just bad...THE private equity owners and what they do to employees...nobody is valued despite those emails b4 layoff...just rotten

This dinosaur of a business deserves to go out of business !
They are terrible to both their employees and loyal customers.
All the profits are kept at the top and nothing given back to the community or their employees.
Hey NM Exec’s...... Karma is a b–ch !

Soooooo many people have put so much time and effort into making it more than a job. But the company's new leadership is turning their back to all the people who helped build more than a company but an experience. Longevity and dedication are now viewed as a liability. The company is discarding the people who made it great. The company suffers because the company no longer cares about the customer facing employees. It is only a matter of time before the doors close. Executives are only caring about what they can take away, not give to the company.

Gone forever are all the values of the great Stanley Marcus!! The deeper the mess that the present company goes into, the further they go away from Stanley's ideas and values. Stanley Marcus was a true genius who cared for all employees knowing that would flow into the customer base.
