Those of us in my store have not seen this.
Too bad they dont close all Macy's for cleaning. The ones I have seen including the one I work in are nasty. And dont get me started about the bathrooms...

The store has been cleaned and will reopen TOMORROW. This is the protocol!
UPDATE: MDS 823 Fort Myers Edison will have a normal opening tomorrow, March 16th. All colleagues scheduled to work tomorrow should report to the store at your scheduled time.

Although JG released a statement saying all stores are undergoing extra thorough cleanings, ours is not and has not. We even asked the KBS cleaning service to wipe the glass entry doors down, nothing happened. NOTHING has changed in the aspect of cleaning in our store in DFW.
Funny. HSQ sent this out but still opened. They sent this yesterday.
We received confirmation that one of our colleagues in our Herald Square store has tested positive for COVID-19. This colleague has not been in the store for the last two weeks, and has not been in direct contact with Macy’s colleagues since experiencing symptoms.
At this time, we do not believe this poses a risk to any of our colleagues or customers in this location. We will be operating the store business as usual today.
Our team has been regularly cleaning our store to ensure the safety and well-being of our colleagues. And following this notification, we will align with health department protocols in the instance of a confirmed case. This will include the following:
Clean all frequently touched surfaces such as countertops, break rooms, restrooms, vertical transportation, entrances, and workstations/wrap stands.
Focus on cleaning all areas the colleague or customer may have traversed.
Fully clean the confirmed colleague's work areas.
Provide cleaning supplies from a controlled area.
They’ll probably close to the public, but require the employees to show up regardless.
