Thread regarding Sears layoffs

In home technicians

Get ready for it cause it's coming. If your an in home tech with a&e factory service you'll soon be without routes. That's right my friend in HE told me there's talk of temporary suspensions of operations of the in home appliance repair due to coronavirus, and the tech that tested positive down in the south east. If this does happen man I feel bad for all the employees.. I'm in a different area at Hoffman but you never know when it'll be over at Sears.

I have the coronavirus I'm pretty certain, but won't get the test due to possible losing my job. I'm fighting so hard to make it through the day and tomorrow will be hard. I just Hope I don't have a bunch of elderly people on my route.

It would be a public relations nightmare for Eddie if a few voices told the media that his little company threatens associates' employment if they call out sick due to a virus.

@jom+13WJjpUc It stands to reason that things end up that way. The company makes it a hassle if you're sick and need to stay home. You get hit with an "occurrence" if you miss. Get a few of those and problems start to come up. Last year, we had someone come in 3 days in a row with a fever (strep throat) because they couldn't risk an occurrence since their kid had been sick the week before and they missed.
You're basically forced to come to work sick or possibly lose your job. When everybody else gets sick, it just starts going in a circle of people being sick.

The routing center at HE for A&E is just one big petri dish. So many sick people everyday packed into a tiny space. Wouldn't surprise me if half of them aren't already infected by this thing.

As a central Florida service technician I can tell you A&E could careless if a technician gets a virus. But if a technician gives a virus to a member it will more then likely result in a lawsuit. And we would not want to soil the company's good name would we.

Yea right, you really think Eddie would care about you enough to shut down money flow (the little that does come in btw lol) to him? Guess again, you'll be down on the floor in all the germs you can imagine. You know what? There's no difference to me cause we do it everyday anyway. So again, I'll believe that one when I see it happen
