What is the latest on class action lawsuit regarding allowances

Has anyone heard anything? I am not even sure how they get started but someone must have some knowledge on this. Looks like they just got over on us .

Last class action I was part of involved an employer who illegally took our 401k deductions and used them to fund business operations. By the time lawyers and creditors got done taking fees and payments there was nothing left. We all got 10 free hours of investment advice. Of course the money we put toward retirement was gone so the consultation was useless. My advice? Start a side gig to make your own money. Work at Lowe’s to have insurance and a steady check, but put your heart and treasure into your own projects.

Whether they had this allowance in writing or not, I don't believe any specialists signed anything, at least I didn't...

Waste of time. The class action could take years. Get on with your life. STFU and stay or GTHO. Just like the OT class action. Employees thought they were going to retire on the “windfall” of a $1.50! The ambulance chasing lawyers are the ones that make the big money.

I would bet there was something in all communications about the allowance that allowed them to revoke or change the allowance program at anytime. It’s the same language that is in all the bonus programs for the company

A class action lawsuit is brought by a class (group) of people who feel they have been wronged. The only people who make money on this are the lawyers. I'd be updating my resume and looking to get out of Lowe's before I'd pin my hopes on a class action lawsuit. Under the current executive leadership (it's a huge leap of faith to call Marvin and his merry marvettes leaders) Lowe's has become a rudderless ship being tossed about in an ocean of despair.

Someone or a group of individuals need to get with a lawyer that feels that the case has merits to get it started. I am sure Lowe's has prepared for such an eventuality and will probably claim their previous communications were not legally binding and/or that they are replacing the lost "allowance" with something new (which has yet to be specified and may not cover all that were affected).
