Is that fact or conjecture? If fact, what configuration?
Oklahoma is not “gone” but we will be combining the assets in the very near future.
So why did the new land news threads keep getting pulled? From what I saw they were all true.
ORB is bloated... HUGE sub-surface group, a lot in the asset group, need to be cut considering previous and future activity
Thanks for the further clarification. No offense taken. It is an extremely difficult time for all.
So I took the asset team to be more than the land group? I think we all understand back end tasks still need to be completed but I think the question was more in the nature of how long do you think HR will let All the ORB folks hang on ....not just the land folks. I understand anxiety is high but no offense is intended
They catch up on the backlog of work they faced as a result of getting all the recent wells drilled. Obviously, you have no understanding of the complexity of land work in ORB. Rest assured they are all busier now than their EG colleagues have ever been.
So what does an asset team do when they have zero rigs running and no time table for when a single rig will be coming back?
Everyone should only focus on what matters. Everyone remember, the NEW BUILDING will open in like 18 months!
What do we expect to happen next under the US energy renaissance that Lee describes. Are we all finished ?
Hasn't the ORB team already been relocated and cut to the bone?
They said they were immediately suspending all D&C operations in Oklahoma, so yeah, not "gone" but definitely not active.
The ongoing layoffs will probably speed up starting with the ORB folks, so get your resumes ready...
