You all are clueless. DK and every other executive are doing the job they were hired by Brian to do. If they left, someone else would do that job.
DK isn't even good at outsourcing things either though. Everything he touches turns to sh–, the man literally cant remember what is even going on on any given day. Asks questions in meetings that make everyone cringe. Outsourcing all of IT as a plan is fine as far as strategies go but he has already wasted over a year trying to do it multiple times. Could be much more efficient at it, oh well, keep collecting paychecks while doing nearly nothing is fine with me!
Our CIO is doing the job he was hired to do, by BP. All of this is BP's vision, approved by the board, and his stepping stone to his next, bigger career move. If DK quit tomorrow all of this would still happen. Just with a different CIO.
This is what he does.....past track record of outsourcing IT...works himself out of a job. He does not care, only wants to stay at CF for 2-3 years
