Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

Check your Kronos vacation hours

Previous 45 hour people. Check your vacation. They have adjusted your remaining hours down to 40. It was my understanding that you earn your vacation based on the previous years hours. This is in my opinion pure theft. Employees who were able to take early vacation got to use it. Randy can't sink any lower than to steal directly from us.

Looks like this RUMOR is TRUE!!!!
Told today from my store Director and HR manager that my 135hrs 3 weeks vacation was now 120hrs 3 weeks.
So to the ones that said to the contrary well you thought wrong even through it was originally told that it was going to be reversed.

The point where if this is true Bad just became Worse.
Randy Edeker needs to resign or be forced to leave and have nothing ever to do with Hy-Vee again.
Ric Jurgens was forward looking and stable not the shambles that Edeker has left Hy-Vee in.

You earn weeks of vacation, not hours. If you worked 45 and have been changed to 40, your vacation weeks moving forward, would be 40 hours. If you were promoted from a 40 hour job to a 45 hour job, your vacation would be 45 hours, rather than 40.

Depends on when you started... if it was this year, your two weeks go to 40. If you earned from previous year you get to keep the 45, however Kronos auto changes you to 40. So your hr needs to email the office to change.

HR told me that it was straight from corporate HR that we are losing those hours we earned.

Your hr just needs to email the office... they will get it corrected.
